Yet another good reason for selecting Bindomatic binding supplies and binding covers: Our products are environment–friendly and recyclable.

  • Depending on product, the papers and cartons used in standard Bindomatic covers are from sustainable forests and produced in mills using unbleached pulp, and that are certified according to FSC and PEFC or EFC Chain of Custody and ISO 14001. Sustainable forests are managed ecologically with biological diversity and sustainability. 
  • We use part of the revenue from each product sold to plant new trees in Germany together with our partner PLANT-MY-TREE®.
  • For our covers with transparent front we use recyclable plastics in form of rigid PVC or PET produced in accordance with GMP quality regulations of the World Health Organization. We also offer a version of transparent front sheet that is non-plastic and bio-degradable.
  • Our binding products, as well as most of our inks for offset printing, are made from vegetable oil.
  • For our Bindomatic binding covers, we pay attention to maximum recyclability. The entire cover, including paper, plastic, adhesive, and bound contents, is fully recyclable and can be fed into the shredder in one piece. However, we recommend removing the transparent plastic film from the rest of the document.
  • We cover 100% of our electricity needs from renewable energy sources
  • We use the most energy-efficient transport routes possible when delivering our products and primarily purchase from regional suppliers.
